Science Applications International Corp. has won a $150 million blanket purchase agreement from the Transportation Security Administration to continue executing operational testing and assessing TSA airport screening equipment and non-screening systems.

Under the agreement, SAIC is responsible for providing test planning and performance, data analysis and evaluation of passenger and baggage screening equipment, the Reston, Virginia-based company announced on Thursday.

“SAIC’s cost-effective system evaluation capabilities support essential airport screening equipment used every day to protect travelers in the U.S., as well as non-screening systems that support critical DHS and TSA operations,” stated Bob Genter, president of the organization’s defense and civilian sector.

The blanket purchase agreement will provide TSA with continued critical support necessary for validating the operational effectiveness, suitability and cyber resilience of systems used to safeguard the transportation of people and cargo.

“We continue to use our technology to support TSA’s mission of securing people and commerce in our nation’s airports,” Genter said.

SAIC has had a fruitful year, racking up $1.91 billion in revenue for the third quarter alone. Contract awards were a major contributor, with the company winning approximately $950 million in space and intelligence contracts.

Most recently, the enterprise won a $349.5 million U.S. Navy contract to engineer its afloat and ashore tactical networks through the provision of network data assurance accreditation, integration, command and control and intelligence equipment as well as system enhancements and other services.

Earlier this year, SAIC won a $163 million contract from the same branch to deliver design, development, modernization, sustainment, lifecycle and integration support to naval enterprise networks.

The company also secured a $757 million Army contract to support the branch’s enterprise service desk function by delivering software development and management services, which are intended to improve a range of the service desk’s technologies.
