Northrop Grumman will help the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate update its intelligence information platforms under a potential $406 million contract.

The company said Tuesday it will support the service’s Intelligence Systems Infrastructure, Tools and Enhancements program through the contract.

InSITE seeks to help AFRL/RI modernize its capabilities to collect, share and analyze intelligence data through the implementation of artificial intelligence platforms to facilitate the decision-making process for warfighters as they to counter threats across all domains.

“Building on our 40 years of support to the AFRL/RI, Northrop Grumman will digitally transform InSITE to meet its space domain awareness and counterspace intelligence mission priorities,” said Rebecca Torzone, vice president and general manager for the company’s combat systems and mission readiness.

Northrop will offer cloud-enabled applications to facilitate data exchanges across Intelligence Community and Department of Defense satellite locations and client centers, including the U.S. Space Force’s National Space Intelligence Center.
