The Illuminate CEO assumed leadership of the Herndon, Virginia-based data collection and analysis services provider in December. The move was part of a series of executive shifts aimed at positioning the company to better meet the increasing data services demand by government customers, network operators and commercial enterprises.

Hollis is responsible for Illuminate’s strategic direction and will draw from her previous experience with the company as its president and chief operating officer to ensure continuous delivery of data, service and technology offerings to a number of clients.

She oversees Illuminate as it works to help agencies, commercial partners and network operators safeguard information while extracting value from data. The company utilizes innovative collection and analysis tools as well as decades of intelligence and telecommunications expertise to provide customers with actionable insight for their decision making efforts.

Notably, Illuminate won a government task order to provide information technology and data management services needed to modernize the intelligence analysis and collection management capabilities of the intelligence community and combatant commands. The award was made under the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the IT Enterprise III contract vehicle as the company is among the 144 contractors of the potential 10-year, $12.6 billion deal awarded in March 2021.

The company is also expanding its workforce with over 100 job vacancies for application development and intelligence analysis professionals.

As Illuminate continues to grow, Hollis is anticipated to contribute years-long experience in senior leadership efforts for optimizing employees’ daily operations and capabilities. According to her LinkedIn profile, she utilized new business development, intelligence, technical integration and strategic planning approaches to assist intelligence, cyber, aerospace and defense customers in their portfolio management initiatives.

Hollis was with Northrop Grumman for nearly 17 years. She joined the defense contractor in August 2003 as program manager and moved up to an executive rank after several years. Her career also includes time working at the former Raytheon company as electro-optical system lead and at Boeing as systems architecture lead.

Executive Mosaic looks forward to Hollis’ GovCon contributions in the year ahead and congratulates the executive and the Illuminate team for their inclusion in the 2023 Wash100 class.
