The U.S. Army has announced its intent to combine programmatic and systems engineering and technical assistance services into a single task order in support of the Project Manager Tactical Network.
Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground Division B has performed market research that shows that the consolidation of the two service requirements into one task order “is both necessary and justified,” according to a special notice published Friday.
Programmatic and SETA services are currently being procured through separate General Services Administration orders, which have a combined value of approximately $509.6 million.
The service plans to compete the consolidated task order on an unrestricted basis under the multiple-award Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
According to the notice, the combined task order will have a performance period of five years, including a transition-in period of 45 days.
