DIU Soliciting Proposals for Unmanned Vehicle Common Operational Database Development - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Defense Innovation Unit is seeking industry proposals to develop a common operational database to enable unmanned vehicles to operate and exchange information in a denied or limited communications environment.

The commercial solutions opening calls for technologies capable of augmenting the ability of autonomous platforms to sense the UxV environment and coordinate among themselves to deliver domain awareness to commanders, DIU said.

Submitted technologies must be size, weight and power-optimized and must enable other core edge world modeling stack components.

DIU is interested in edge perception software tools that use pre-trained models and can be deployed to various platforms, operating systems and hardware configurations.

Interested technology vendors have until June 14 to submit their proposals.
