Accenture Federal Services has been awarded a contract from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to bolster the nation’s physical and cyberinfrastructure.
Under the $90 million contract, Accenture Federal Services will enlist data analytics and vulnerability research to support the CISA’s Cybersecurity Division Vulnerability Management Insights Branch, the Arlington, Virginia-based company announced Wednesday.
Ron Ash, CEO of Accenture Federal Services, said the contract is essential in securing the nation’s defense and improving cyber resilience.
“Accenture Federal Services values our work with CISA helping to ensure senior leaders at departments, agencies, and the private sector throughout the United States understand their role in reducing the likelihood and impact of a potentially damaging compromise,” Ash stated.
Paloma Prutsok, a managing director at Accenture Federal Services and CISA client account lead, said the company looks forward to providing global acumen to produce “transformative analytic products” throughout CISA’s vulnerability management branch.
“CISA plays a critical role in enabling cyber risk reduction, strengthening critical infrastructure resilience, and reducing attack surface exposure in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks,” Prutsok said.
The CISA Cybersecurity Division Vulnerability Management Insights agreement is a one-year contract with four option years. In 2021, Accenture Federal Services secured a $112 million task order from CISA to protect the Federal Civilian Executive Branch systems against cyberattacks.
