Leidos has been awarded a potential seven-year, $2 billion prime contract to provide non-medical counseling to service members and their families through the Department of Defense's Military and Family Life Counseling program. The General Services Administration's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center awarded the cost-plus-award-fee contract with a 12-month base period, four 12-month options and a pair of 12-month incentive periods.

Leidos has reported financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2020, noting revenues for the quarter were $2.89B, operating income for the quarter was $192M and operating income margin decreased to 6.6 percent from 7.5 percent in the prior year quarter, due to COVID-19, the company announced on Tuesday.
