The State Department has cleared Norway's request to procure Javelin FGM-148 missiles and associated equipment from the U.S. government through a potential $36 million foreign military sales transaction. Norway asked to purchase 120 Javelin units, two FGM-148 fly-to-buy missiles, 24 Block 1 command launch units and spare parts, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.

Parsons has been awarded a position on the potential ten-year, $2 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award task order contract by the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The company will deliver architecture engineering capabilities, such as design, construction management and the restoration and modernization of Air Force Bases. "We're ready to deliver exceptional critical infrastructure expertise to modernize and sustain Air Force bases around the world," said Chris Alexander, executive vice president and general manager of Parsons' engineered systems market.
