Forcepoint's unified cloud platform has expanded its authorization under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to include the Remote Browser Isolation capability designed to enable secure web browsing. Federal agencies can employ the RBI capability as part of the Forcepoint ONE platform to facilitate and accelerate their zero trust architecture adoption and Security Service Edge migration.

Matt Kinard, former director of operations and strategy at software services provider Forcepoint, has been promoted to vice president of operations and chief of staff at the company, he announced on LinkedIn Monday. Kinard has been working at the Austin, Texas-based firm for nearly seven years, starting as director of strategic alliances in April 2017 before transitioning to his most recent director role a year later.

Forcepoint's Global Governments and Critical Infrastructure cybersecurity business will focus on insider risk and behavior analytics and increase investment in cyber defense technologies against insider threats after being acquired by asset management firm TPG, Forcepoint G2CI CEO Sean Berg told GovInfoSecurity in a recent interview. Berg commented that the divestiture is beneficial for the firm and Forcepoint's commercial business, but the two will continue to collaborate on certain endeavors.
