Empower AI has received a $21 million contract from the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command’s National Capital Region Engineering Directorate for information technology and engineering support. Perspecta has received a follow-on award from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide technical services in support of its Global Content Delivery Services (GCDS) II program. The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) and firm-fixed-price agreement has a ceiling value of $201.5 million and includes a three-year base and three one-year option years, the company said Thursday.

Perspecta has entered into a collaboration agreement with NextgenID to develop an identity proofing solution to remotely assess and verify the identity of individuals who apply for credentials to gain physical and network access to government facilities, Perspecta reported on Tuesday. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) updated the SP800-63A standard to enable the use of remote identity proofing for federal agencies.
