Smiths Detection said Wednesday that the Department of Defense has chosen the company to work on the Aerosol and Vapor Chemical Agent Detector, a new, miniature chemical detection device. Technology firm 908 Device will work with SDI as a subcontractor and enable the use of high-pressure mass spectrometry for the effort.
