The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation has released a draft solicitation for a potential $127 million follow-on contract to maintain a computer-generated system for managing the entire constructive modeling and simulation life cycle. PEO STRI requires software development, integration, testing, engineering releases and maintenance of the One Semi-Automated Forces program, which supports force modernization and transformation modeling and simulation initiatives, according to a notice posted Tuesday on SAM.gov.

Parry Labs will work to deliver software and mission system hardware for the P550 uncrewed aircraft system under a teaming agreement with AeroVironment. AV said Monday that the P550, which is being developed for the U.S. Army Long Range Reconnaissance program, was designed with a Modular Open Systems Approach, in which Parry Labs is a leader.

L3Harris Technologies will continue supplying Enhanced Night Vision Goggle – Binocular units to the U.S. Army under a $256 million contract. The company said Monday the award signifies the commencement of full-scale production for the ENVG-B program.

Leidos has secured a one-year, $13.7 million contract from the U.S. Army National Guard to provide aviation institutional training and operations support. The award covers flight and simulation training, classroom instruction and information technology support, the Reston, Virginia-based company said Tuesday.

BlueHalo has secured a four-year logistics support contract to help the U.S. Army manage and maintain its laser weapon system designed to defend forces and critical infrastructure against threats from small unmanned aircraft systems. The company said Monday it will serve as the full-cycle lead system integrator overseeing preventative and corrective maintenance and operator and maintenance team training for the Army's Palletized High Energy Laser system.

Akamai Technologies has received an other transaction agreement from the U.S. Army to develop zero trust software prototypes in support of the service branch's Tactical-Identity Credential and Access Management project. The company will create T-ICAM prototypes to provide a zero trust network security architecture to secure access to Army networks used by combat units in contested operational environments, the military service said Friday.

The U.S. Army and the Defense Innovation Unit have selected eight companies to prototype autonomous software and processes to advance the use of uncrewed vehicles in challenging military operations as part of the Ground Vehicle Autonomous Pathways project. DIU said Wednesday the GVAP project seeks to provide a technical pipeline to support rapid modeling, development, testing and fielding of autonomous features.

Lockheed Martin has secured a $483 million follow-on contract from the U.S. Army to build air-to-ground missile systems for domestic and international military customers. The company said Monday it will provide procurement and production support for the Joint-Air-to-Ground Missiles and HELLFIRE missiles to the U.S. Army, Navy and the governments of the Czech Republic, France and Poland.

General Atomics' aeronautical systems business will provide technical services for the U.S. Army's MQ-1C Gray Eagle aircraft under a $561.5 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The Department of Defense said Thursday that General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. will perform contract work through March 28, 2029.

Solon, Ohio-based military and expeditionary systems provider HDT Global has won a potential 10-year, $432.6 million contract to provide rigid wall shelters for the U.S. Army.

Olin’s Winchester business has received a contract from the U.S. Army to construct the service branch's Next Generation Squad Weapon ammunition facility.
