Dedrone is considering updating a counter-unmanned aerial system technology to include detection and threat mitigation features as the company aims to establish a presence in the defense and civilian markets, National Defense Magazine reported Thursday.

Dedrone has partnered with Securityhunter to offer a counter-small unmanned aircraft system technology via a General Services Administration contract vehicle that encompasses security, firefighting and law enforcement offerings for the public sector.
