The Social Security Administration plans to expand its cloud computing solution and is seeking vendors that can provide tools to help the agency manage the resulting multi-cloud environment. The SSA noted in a request for information notice issued Friday that “the selection of a suite of tools to assist in the management of the environment will be critical to the success of SSA’s overall cloud strategy.”

Telos has received a contract option to provide the Social Security Administration a product suite for managing information technology security risks and compliance operations. This is the first option under a contract SSA awarded in September 2019 to procure company-made software for the agency's IT assessment, authorization and monitoring process modernization efforts, Telos said Tuesday.
