BlueHalo has achieved a key milestone in its work under a $1.4 billion U.S. Space Force satellite communications program. Rocket Lab USA will launch an Electron vehicle to support the Space Test Program-S30 mission under a task order awarded by the U.S. Space Force. The Space Systems Command has selected BAE Systems for a prototyping effort intended to enhance the U.S. Space Force’s capacity to facilitate the rapid integration of next-generation assets as they come online. Astroscale's U.S. business has secured a $25.5 million contract from the U.S. Space Force to build a small satellite capable of conducting uninterrupted refueling missions in geostationary orbit. The Astroscale Prototype Servicer for Refueling will be designed to carry and transfer hydrazine directly to client spacecraft, Astroscale U.S. said Wednesday.

Four companies have secured other transaction authority agreements from Space Systems Command to develop ground-based command and control system prototypes to support missile warning satellites.
