Federal Resources has been chosen by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as part of a prospective $2 billion indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to offer COVID-19 vaccination testing services. The agreement comprises four one-year option periods and a one-year base period.

Following the contract, Federal Resources will increase its COVID-19 response efforts by offering DHS clients Molecular Diagnostic Test Kits and Testing Services. Customers of the business will be able to adjust to the present environment, avoid transmission, and reduce the risk of illness spread with the help of COVID-19 RT-PCR test solutions.

In April 2020, the Defense Logistics Agency awarded Federal Resources Supply a $134 million contract to purchase gloves (64.4 million pairs), gowns (12.8 million), protective goggles (1.2 million pieces), and masks (1.8 million) for health workers.
In response to COVID-19, it was distributed to over 15,000 nursing homes in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, New Jersey, and New York. This is being done in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

3. Federal Resources to Provide Special Warfare Support to U.S. Air Force, $950 Million

Federal Resources has been selected for the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) Special Operational Equipment (SOE) Tailored Logistics Support program. The SOE contract is a firm-fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with two base years and four two-year options with a total ceiling of $33 billion.

Federal Resources will be called upon under the SOE contract to rapidly provide the equipment and services to military commands, federal agencies, and other authorized customers worldwide.

5. U.S. Army Contracting Command’s Procurement of 20 Armored Recovery Vehicles, $14.6 Million

Federal Resources Supply Co. of Stevensville, Maryland, has been awarded a $14.6 million firm-fixed-price contract to procure 20 armored recovery vehicles, replacement parts, technical manuals, training, and maintenance. The work will be done in Stevensville, Maryland, and is expected to be completed on December 9, 2021. At the time of the award, $14.6 million in Fiscal 2010 Foreign Military Sales funds were obligated. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan.

6. DLA To Require Federal Resources for the Global Supply of Solar Stik Portable Power Equipment, $70 Million

Federal Resources was awarded a $70 million 5-year contract from the Defense Agency Logistics Troop Support in April 2022. Under the terms of the contract, Federal Resources will supply Solar Stik portable power equipment to customers of the Heavy Equipment Procurement Program (HEPP). Solar Stick is a HUBZone-certified woman-owned small business with SBA certification.

HEPP manages major suppliers’ purchases of various commercial heavy equipment. Agricultural and construction equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, cranes, and trucks are included in HEPP.

7. Federal Resources Fire Suppression Refill System (FSRS), $19 Million

The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) awarded Federal Resources a $19 million contract in April 2019 to supply specialized equipment to warfighters worldwide. The company is the sole awardee under the Fire Suppression Refill System (FSRS) Tool Load contract, which ensures the safe refilling of fire bottle systems and bottles.

According to the gov contract, commercial components and tools must be incorporated into the system to reduce threats from ground vehicles and military ship explosions. The completion date is set for November 2023.
