ECS Receives Six Microsoft Gold Competency Certifications
ECS has been certified by Microsoft in six competencies for demonstrating the ability to deliver cloud computing products and services to clients. The Microsoft Gold Certifications allow ECS to provide offerings designed to help customers migrate to the cloud, build data center platforms, manage communications, create collaborative online workplace and develop applications, the Fairfax, Va.-based technology services contractor said Thursday.

Richard Hunter, formerly president of L3 Technologies' defense electronic systems division, has been appointed CEO of battery manufacturer EaglePicher Technologies. He will oversee the delivery of battery products that are designed for aerospace defense and health care applications, EaglePicher said Wednesday.

Dewberry Wins FEMA Construction Project Monitoring Task Order
Dewberry has secured a potential three-year task order to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency manage housing repair and construction efforts in the Northern Mariana Islands. The company said Wednesday it will oversee projects to build or fix approximately 600 homes on Saipan and Tinian Islands as part of the third order awarded under the Logistics Construction Support Contract.

DHS Approves Exabeam Products for CDM Program’s Data Protection Mgmt Phase
The Department of Homeland Security has added Exabeam security management platforms to a list of approved products for the fourth phase of DHS' Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program. Exabeam said Tuesday its Advanced Analytics, Entity Analytics and Incident Responder offerings are certified for deployment by agencies under the data protection management phase.
