An RTX subsidiary has secured a $40.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy to enhance the technology readiness of the Controlled, Advanced, Distributed Radio Frequency Effects initiative. The competitively procured contract is in support of the potential integration of CADRE into the Next Generation Jammer program, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The U.S. Air Force has concluded the initial operational test and evaluation of a BAE Systems-built electronic warfare system for the F-15E Strike Eagle and F-15EX Eagle II aircraft. BAE Systems said Tuesday it supported the service branch’s operational test and evaluation center during the IOT&E effort for the Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System as part of the Northern Edge 2023 large force exercise.
Scott Howell, former commander of the Joint Special Operations Command with more than three decades of military experience, has joined Peraton's advisory board. Rite-Solutions has received a three-year, $88 million contract from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport Division to bolster the imaging and electromagnetic warfare systems enhancement initiatives of NUWC's Undersea Warfare Electromagnetic Systems Department. Under the prime contract, the small business firm said Monday it will collaborate with 13 subcontractors to develop new I&EW systems and deliver engineering services to enhance existing ones.
Brian Carr, formerly vice president of finance at Edgewater Federal Solutions, has been promoted to chief financial officer at the Frederick, Maryland-based company. With two decades of experience in government contracting, he will now oversee the accounting, finance and pricing departments of the company and spearhead merger and acquisition activities, Edgewater said Monday.
Immersive training services provider HTX Labs has added Craig Wills, former 19th Air Force commander, to its advisory board. Rebellion Defense is set to provide its software services to federal, state, local and tribal government customers through the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule contract vehicle. The competitively awarded GSA MAS contract includes all Rebellion software products, such as Iris and Nova, alongside mission engineering services, the Washington-based startup said Wednesday.

Boeing has received a $96.2 million contract modification from the U.S. Special Operations Command for the procurement of the MH-47G Chinook rotary wing renew build aircraft.
