CAE Receives CBP Contract for Aircraft Pilot Training Services

CAE's U.S. subsidiary has received a prime contract to train aircraft pilots of U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the company's Dothan Training Center and other business aviation facilities. CAE USA will provide training on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft in classroom, simulated and actual flight environments to help pilots meet requirements imposed by CBP and the Federal Aviation Administration, CAE said Tuesday.

Ball Aerospace to Develop New Heliophysics Spacecraft for NASA

NASA has selected Ball Aerospace to develop a spacecraft that would help the agency study the atmosphere's outermost region that transitions into space as part of the agency's heliophysics science mission of opportunity. The company said Tuesday it will build the Global Lyman-alpha Imager of the Dynamic Exosphere or GLIDE spacecraft that would track the hydrogen-based ultraviolet light found in the region.
