In today’s combatant environment, sensors have become an integral component of nearly all military weapons, vehicles, operations and systems. The U.S. military’s situational domain awareness, detection, surveillance and deterrence capabilities all rely on data collected from sensors, bringing sensing technology to the forefront of the Pentagon’s priorities.
U.S. Marine Corps Commandant Gen. David Berger has said “sensing is perhaps even more important than lethality,” noting that five of the six steps in the kill chain are centered around sensing.
Join ExecutiveBiz Events’ Sensors for Defense Forum to hear from military, government and industry experts on the role sensors play in the future of warfare. Our esteemed speakers will examine the challenges and opportunities surrounding sensors in defense applications as the U.S. continues to drive innovation and retain its tactical, technological and competitive advantages against its adversaries.
