KBR has secured a potential five-year, $49.5 million contract for maintenance and sustainment of automated hydrant fueling systems at 90 Department of Defense facilities around the world. The company said Tuesday it will help the Defense Logistics Agency by providing equipment and site support, program management, training, testing and maintenance services.

KBR has been selected by a Battelle-MRIGlobal partnership to assess project engineering designs and costs for a Department of Energy-funded research and development center for renewable energy technologies. Houston-based KBR said it received a contract from the Alliance for Sustainable Energy to perform evaluation work on biorefinery and biofuel projects at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

KBR has been awarded a five-year, $539 million cost-plus-award-fee engineering task order to support rapid prototyping and fielding of systems for the U.S. Air Force's Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) program. The Air Force's program aims to support operational requirements by applying national space capabilities at the tactical level.

KBR has been awarded a five year, $92.6 million cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide engineering, integration and sustainment services on counter unmanned air systems (C-UAS) for the Combat Integration & Identification Systems unit within the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). "Our work through this new win will have wide-reaching impacts within the DOD," said Byron Bright, president of KBR Government Solutions and a 2021 Wash100 Award recipient.

KBR's technology solutions unit will provide supplies, transportation, maintenance and logistics work in support of a U.S. Army program under a $78.3 million contract modification. The service branch aims to deliver material and equipment at any location worldwide to help U.S. regional combatant commanders respond to contingency missions through the Army Prepositioned Stock-3 Charleston Afloat program.
