The Department of Homeland Security has posted a request for information on off-the-shelf technology platforms that employ a robotics architecture and could facilitate communications in border environments or missions. A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday stated the DHS science and technology directorate is interested in systems that can function to identify underground structures, obtacles, contents and potential threats at the southern U.S. border.
