L3Harris Technologies has added TRX Systems to the former’s association of public safety technology vendors.

L3Harris Technologies will distribute Kleos Space’s geo-locating maritime radio communications suite through the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70 vehicle under a new partnership, Space Connect reported Tuesday.

The all-stock merger between L3 Technologies and Harris Corp. has been completed to form L3Harris Technologies (LHX), the new company announced on Monday. L3Harris is officially the sixth largest defense company in the United States worth approximately $17 billion in revenue with over 50,000 employees. The company also announced the details regarding its own leadership, the board of directors and organizational structure. 

Errol Farr, former senior director of strategy and business development at AeroVironment, has joined Auterion to serve as the drone software company's vice president for government business development. Farr will oversee business development activities related to Auterion's offerings to security and defense customers, the company said Wednesday.

Bell has opened an office in Wichita, Kan., that will house the Textron subsidiary's corporate, manufacturing, supply chain and engineering functions and programs that support aerospace customers.
