Parry Labs will provide an Intel server-class edge computing hardware to General Atomic for use in the modernization of the U.S. Air Force's MQ-9A aircraft, a remotely piloted aircraft built by GA's aeronautical systems business. An RTX business has completed another live-fire demonstration of Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor, the advanced, 360-degree air and missile defense radar it is developing for the U.S. Army. The defense contractor said Thursday Raytheon conducted a series of exercises showcasing LTAMDS' integration with the Integrated Battle Command System, the radar's tracking of a cruise missile surrogate and its relay of target track information to IBCS to guide a missile to intercept the target.

Lockheed Martin has secured a seven-year, $71.3 million contract from the U.S. Navy to deliver performance-based logistics for the Consolidated Automated Support System family of testers that supports naval aviation systems at the intermediate maintenance level. Robert Lightfoot, president of Lockheed Martin Space, said the company is looking to partner with more space businesses that are working on small satellites and intelligence, surveillance and communications payloads to meet the increasing demand within the government market for resilient space-based capabilities. “We’re looking for strategic partners," Lightfoot, a three-time Wash100 awardee, told the publication at a conference on Tuesday.
