Lumen Technologies has booked a task order valued at over $73.6 million from the Government Accountability Office. Under the award, Lumen will support the office’s goal to help Congress and the public by upgrading its network, data and voice connectivity, the company announced from Washington, D.C. on Thursday.

Trellix has achieved authorization to deliver its cybersecurity offering to Google Cloud's customers as part of the Google Cloud Partner Advantage program's Build Engagement Model category. Under the partnership program, Trellix will offer its Helix threat detection and response platform and Email Security tool to protect Google Workplace-based emails against phishing, ransomware and attachment-based attacks, the company said Tuesday.

Salesforce has unveiled Public Sector Einstein 1 for Service, a software platform that hosts various artificial intelligence-powered capabilities that work to automate administrative tasks. Salesforce said Wednesday that the new product is based on its Einstein 1 platform and is meant for use by government workers.

MetTel was awarded a potential five-year, $60 million contract under the General Services Administration Schedule 70 acquisition vehicle to provide the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau with mobility services, ExecutiveBiz has learned. Optical and space technologies developer ARKA has invested $85 million in expanding its Danbury, Connecticut, facility by 14,000 square feet. The expansion, spanning over two years, is aimed at bolstering the production of smallsat systems, payloads and optical coating capabilities as well as enabling multi-shift payload production.

Iridium Communications has secured a five-year contract from L3Harris Technologies to deliver timing sync services to U.S. data centers, crucial for safeguarding the Federal Aviation Administration’s infrastructure. Under the contract, Iridium will supply its satellite time and location service to over 36 L3Harris-operated communications network backbone nodes and a similar number of FAA facilities.

HII's Mission Technologies division will conduct research, analyze and build capabilities for the Mk 41 and Mk 57 vertical launching systems on the U.S. Navy's surface ships under a potential five-year, $75 million task order. HII said Tuesday the task order was awarded through the Department of Defense's Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract.

Fluor has booked a five-year, $409 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide pavement and transportation support for North Field on Tinian, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The cost-plus, fixed-fee task order was issued by the USAF Installation Contracting Agency through the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program V, Fluor announced from Irving, Texas on Wednesday.
