Carahsoft Technology has closed an agreement with Australian artificial intelligence firm Trellis Data to distribute the latter’s Secure Chat suite to government agencies. Michael Adams, sales director at Carahsoft, said Thursday the company is “pleased to add Trellis Data’s Secure Chat and Speech solutions to Carahsoft’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning portfolio.”

Accenture Federal Services and Google Public Sector have unveiled a new center of excellence that seeks to help federal agencies improve citizen experience while managing sensitive and classified workloads using data management platforms and generative artificial intelligence technologies. The Data and AI Center of Excellence will provide agency clients with access to Google Cloud's AI-based code generation tools, Vertex AI platform, language models, specialized data and AI experts and AI-optimized infrastructure, the companies said in a joint release published Thursday.

Jacobs Solutions has secured a potential five-year, $570.5 million contract to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency repair and restore disaster-damaged, publicly-owned facilities in the West Zone regions. The company said it will partner with CDM Smith to provide site inspection, field support, technical evaluation and cost analysis services to FEMA under the Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract V contract vehicle.

Palantir Technologies has selected Oracle's distributed cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure to host its suite of AI and decision acceleration platforms to provide joint offerings to government and commercial sectors. Under the agreement, Palantir will migrate its Foundry workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and deploy its Gotham and AI Platforms via Oracle's distributed cloud environments to defense and intelligence customers, the companies said in a joint statement published Thursday.

Taylor has acquired software company Clear Creek Applied Technologies as part of a push to expand its portfolio of training systems and mission support platforms for the Department of Defense and its international partners. CCAT is a Dayton, Ohio-based company that has been developing and delivering mission-critical software applications and test and evaluation services to the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and foreign military partners for nearly two decades, J.F. Taylor said Monday.
