The U.S. Space Systems Command has chosen LeoLabs to join its Space Domain Awareness Tools Applications and Processing Lab, or TAP Lab, Apollo Accelerator program. Throughout the initiative’s three-month period, LeoLabs will be given scenarios focused on threat warning and assessment, allowing the company to evaluate and modify its space domain awareness-focused products, the organization announced from Menlo Park, California on Tuesday.

Tyler Technologies will work to help public sector customers accelerate their migration to the cloud under an expanded strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services. General Atomics' aeronautical systems division and the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command have showcased various capabilities in a concept development initiative aimed at enabling AFSOC to project air power using unmanned systems from beyond the horizon. Cubic's defense arm has secured a contract from Science Applications International Corp. to deliver software-defined radio-based data links to the U.S. Army. The company said Monday it will design, develop and deliver full-duplex data terminals using the Bandwidth-Efficient Common Data Link technology to support SAIC's engineering work for the Army's hardware-in-the-loop simulation effort.

Washington Headquarter Services has awarded American Systems a modification to a task order issued under a potential five-year, $496M contract meant to provide the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering with mission support. The modification, worth $31.8 million, exercises an option under the task whose maximum value, if all options are exercised, reaches $54 million, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Ultra Intelligence & Communications has showcased the capability of its Orion multi-mission tactical line-of-sight radios and deployable satellite communications terminal to defense and civilian customers. During a technical demonstration, UI&C showed prototypes of the single-channel Orion X610 and the dual-channel Orion X630 radios and exhibited the GigaSat Ultralight VSAT, FA-100 and FA-180 satcom terminals, the company said Monday.
