Serco Group’s North American division has secured a spot on a potential $400 million re-compete contract from the U.S. Navy for engineering and technical services in support of aviation C5ISR electronic systems.

The company said Thursday the multiple-award contract has a five-year base period and one two-year option period.

“Serco has been supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic under predecessor contracts since 1996, and we are proud to have earned the opportunity to continue delivering upgrades, sustainment, and repairs for these complex electronic systems,” said Dave Dacquino, chairman and CEO of Serco Inc. and a 2021 Wash100 Award recipient.

The contract requires the company to compete for task orders to support the conception, design, development and delivery of integrated systems, networks and supporting infrastructure along with the corresponding engineering, technical, and management support services.

Contract work will support air traffic control, meteorology and oceanography, and aviation command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance electronic systems.

Serco has vast experience in working with the U.S. Navy. In March, the company received a $153 million initial delivery order under a potential $600 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Navy to provide software, hardware and firmware maintenance services in support of the Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection  Ashore Sustainment Program.
