McAfee Receives FedRAMP High Certification for Cloud Access Security Broker Platform

McAfee has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for a cloud security access broker platform designed to help federal customers protect data and applications in multicloud computing environments. The FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board granted provisional authority-to-operate approval to McAfee's MVISION Cloud offering at high level, the company said Thursday.

Microsoft has launched an end-to-end program designed to help clients and partners serving as defense suppliers prepare for and facilitate their compliance with the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program. The Microsoft CMMC acceleration program seeks to help DoD suppliers “improve their cybersecurity maturity, develop the cyber critical thinking skills essential to CMMC, and benefit from the compliance capabilities native to Azure and Azure Government,” Lily Kim, general manager of Azure Global at Microsoft, wrote in a blog entry posted Tuesday.

Telesat Forms Commercial Satellite Tech Demo Partnerships With General Dynamics, Ball Aerospace

Telesat has partnered with General Dynamics and Ball Aerospace to demonstrate space-based data exploitation and processing approaches with the use of commercial satellite technology. The partnerships will use Telesat-built satellite and network emulation systems for live demo events in support of the U.S. Air Force's Commercially Augmented Space Inter Networked Operations program.
