Quzara, CORTAC Group, Summit 7 Create Consortium to Support Defense Industry’s CMMC Compliance

Quzara has partnered with Summit 7 Systems and CORTAC Group to help members of the defense industrial base comply with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, a Department of Defense program that sets new cybersecurity standards. The companies have formed the CMMC Consortium that will guide stakeholders and advise them on compliance efforts by providing regulatory and cybersecurity expertise, Quzara said Monday.

DISA Updates Inmarsat Broadband Satcom Support RFI to Cover CMMC Requirements

The Defense Information Systems Agency has issued an updated request for information on broadband satellite communications services to add requirements for meeting Level 3 Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program criteria. DISA said in the updated notice posted Wednesday that the U.S. Space Force seeks Inmarsat resellers to provide services and equipment that support the Inmarsat-built Global Xpress satellite and Broadband Global Area Network.

Zscaler, Steel Root Form CMMC Vetting Support Partnership; Drew Schnabel Quoted

Zscaler has partnered with cybersecurity company Steel Root to jointly conduct vetting support to defense industrial base entities seeking to comply with the  Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program. The companies intend to integrate Steel Root's CMMC-focused compliance services with Zscaler's zero-trust access technology that has been authorized under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Steel Root said Tuesday.
