NASA Selects Spaceflight’s Orbital Transfer Vehicle for CubeSat Launch Services

Spaceflight has received a contract from NASA to perform launch services in support of a mission led by The Aerospace Corp. under the space agency's CubeSat Launch Initiative. Spaceflight said Monday it will use its Sherpa-LTC orbital test vehicle to propel two Low-Latitude Ionosphere/Thermosphere Enhancements in Density cubesats to low-Earth orbit aboard a Falcon 9 rocket.

Satellogic Names SpaceX as Preferred Launch Provider; Tom Ochinero Quoted

SpaceX has agreed to become Satellogic's preferred provider of rideshare launch services in support of the latter's plan to develop its Earth Observation Constellation by 2022. Under a new partnership between the two companies, Satellogic said Tuesday its Earth observation satellites will launch on SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket, with the first mission scheduled for June this year.

Exolaunch-SpaceX Partnership Integrates Small Sats for First Dedicated Rideshare Launch

Exolaunch has initiated its launch campaign that will integrate 30 small satellites from the U.S. and Europe aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rideshare mission. The launch is scheduled for no earlier than January 2021. “Through our partnership with SpaceX, Exolaunch has become the bridge for multiple European smallsat developers and others from around the world interested to launch on Falcon 9,“ said Jeanne Medvedeva, vice president of Launch Services at Exolaunch.

Updated Dragon Spacecraft Launches With New Scientific Samples

The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft that NASA launched Sunday from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the company's 21st commercial resupply mission is expected to arrive at the International Space Station on Monday around 1:30 p.m. EST. The updated Dragon flew with over 6.4K pounds of cargo for the station aboard a Falcon 9 rocket and will demonstrate SpaceX's first autonomous docking with the ISS, NASA said Monday.
