The U.S. Navy partnered with Northrop Grumman to test a Leonardo-built surveillance radar aboard an MQ-8C Fire Scout aircraft.
Northrop Grumman will deliver five Fire Scout MQ-8C unmanned air systems and two lightweight fuel cells to the U.S. Navy under a $55M contract modification.
The U.S. Navy intends to award Northrop Grumman‘s aerospace systems business a contract modification to engineer software and systems of the MQ-8 Fire Scout unmanned aerial vehicle during 2019 calendar year.
