Accenture's federal services business has been awarded a five-year, $50 million blanket purchase agreement by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to operate, maintain and modernize the agency’s financial management systems (FMS) for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). “We are proud to support USPTO," said Rasha Nahas, managing director and the U.S. Department of Commerce lead for Accenture Federal Services.

USAF Needs Industry Input to Inform FMS System Modernization

The U.S. Air Force seeks market information on ways to update the service's legacy platforms used in foreign military sales transactions to ensure that the systems are in line with modern cybersecurity standards. USAF said Thursday in a SAM notice it seeks to modernize and migrate digital assets from the Case Management Control System and the Security Assistance Management Information System to a secure, open-systems environment.

Lockheed Gets $80M Navy Aegis Modernization Contract Modification

Lockheed Martin's rotary and mission systems business has received an $80M contract modification to produce, test and deliver equipment needed to address fiscal 2019 production requirements under the AEGIS Modernization program. The company will supply signal processor technology, electronic equipment fluid cooler and kill assessment system and spares, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
