Huntington Ingalls Industries has started fabrication activities for the construction of a new Arleigh BurkeÂ-class destroyer.
Huntington Ingalls Industries has handed over the USS Paul Ignatius (DDG 117) Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer to the U.S. Navy. HII said Friday its Ingalls Shipbuilding division officially transferred responsibility over the ship to the military service with the signing of the DD 250 delivery document.
