Intel, Leidos, Fortanix Partner to Develop Data Security Approach for Clinical Trial Operations

Intel has partnered with Leidos and cloud security technology maker Fortanix to deploy integrated technologies to support real-time data sharing across a distributed network intended to streamline clinical trial procedures. Leidos used Intel’s software guard extension and Fortanix’s Confidential Computing Manager to establish a network of secure computing environments that work to handle key real-world data while complying with industry and patient privacy guidelines.

CP Technologies, General Atomics Form Partnership for USAF Portable Workstation Development

General Atomics' aeronautical systems business and CP Technologies have partnered to build a mobile military-grade workstation that will replace the U.S. Air Force's Ruggedized Aircraft Maintenance Test Station. The Portable Aircraft Control Station will be designed and manufactured by the two companies to support direct connect aircraft pre- and post-flight operations and engine functions through the use of multi-touch displays and Intel Xeon processors, CP Technologies said Tuesday.

Intel, Google Cloud Participate in NIH Research Program to Help Improve Population Health

Intel and Google's cloud computing arm have joined a National Institutes of Health program that seeks to provide COVID-19 researchers access to biomedical data from underrepresented groups as part of efforts to improve population health. The NIH All of Us Research Program will make biomedical information available to researchers through the Researcher Workbench platform, which is powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors and hosted on Google Cloud.
