Microsoft now has 142 cloud services certified with high provisional authorization to operate under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, which aims to standardize the security of cloud products used in the federal government. Microsoft and Panasonic have partnered in an effort to help law enforcement organizations automate the process of editing sensitive content out of video files used as criminal justice evidence. Panasonic said Friday its IDguard identity redaction technology runs on the Microsoft Azure Government cloud platform and seeks to reduce manual editing on censorship tasks by 90 percent.
