A Raytheon Technologies-led team will help the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency mature software for the second phase of a military planning technology being developed to support the agency's Mosaic Warfare strategy. Raytheon BBN Technologies aims to further develop a decision aid platform as part of DARPA's Adapting Cross-Domain Kill-Webs program to help commanders determine available resources or assets across air, space, land, maritime and cyber domains, the company said Tuesday.

Raytheon Technologies has incorporated a smartphone-based military situation awareness application into a wearable system built to help soldiers determine hostile fire or sniper attack locations. The integration of Raytheon's Boomerang Warrior-X technology for dismounted soldier gunshot detection and the Android Team Awareness Kit is intended to facilitate battlespace coordination in real time, the company said Wednesday.

Raytheon Technologies subsidiary has been selected by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop a semantic logistics enterprise model for monitoring and predicting the state of the Department of Defense supply chain. Raytheon BBN Technologies and its team members aim to simplify the process for DoD personnel to access, fuze and analyze logistics data with artificial intelligence and machine learning approaches under the LogX program, the company said Monday.

DARPA Picks Five Research Teams for Persistent Aquatic Living Sensors Program

Five research teams will study the behavior of marine organisms to develop sensors designed to detect and track manned underwater vehicles and drones in strategic waters under a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency program. DARPA introduced in February 2018 the Persistent Aquatic Living Sensors program in an effort to integrate biology into new platforms meant to monitor adversaries' movements in underwater environments, the agency said Friday.
