A coalition of technology and health companies has launched an initiative that intends to enable individuals to obtain digital access to their COVID-19 vaccination records based on interoperable, open standards. Coalition members that are advancing the Vaccination Credential Initiative include Cerner, CARIN Alliance, Change Healthcare, Evernorth, Epic, Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, Mitre, Safe Health, Oracle, Salesforce and The Commons Project Foundation.

The partnership will facilitate the integration of IBM Digital Health Pass with the Salesforce Work.com platform to provide organizations with a single tool for making data-driven decisions as they work to streamline communications, initiate actions and reduce risks.

Accenture’s federal arm will develop a platform to automate Thrift Savings Plan processes, offer electronic signature capabilities and help TSP users access services through phone, email, virtual assistant and other channels under a contract with the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board. The Recordkeeping Services Acquisition contract awarded to Accenture Federal Services has a transition period of 18 months and four, three-year option terms.
