The Department of the Treasury’s Internal Revenue Service wants information on applications that will enable field revenue officers to collect tax payments through non-cash payment methods. IRS issued a request for information posted Thursday on FedBizOpps to seek potential vendors that could provide mobile apps, low-frequency beacons, online payment apps, electronic payment devices and other portable technologies for electronic tax collection.
