NASA has chosen two research proposals for its heliophysics program that seeks to assess how interstellar particles and radiation from the Sun impact the Earth’s atmosphere.
Northrop Grumman has formed an alliance with eight universities to explore machine learning and artificial intelligence platforms. The company said Tuesday it will provide $1.2M in total funds to three groups from the Research in Applications for Learning Machines consortium to help address key customer requirements through applied research.
NASA has chosen 10 companies to build platforms designed to gather, process and utilize space-based resources for lunar and Mars missions.
