Huntington Ingalls Industries' Ingalls Shipbuilding division has concluded acceptance trials for a new national security cutter for the U.S. Coast Guard. The Midgett, or WMSL 757, underwent two days of testing involving the ship's propulsion, electrical, damage control, anchor-handling, small boat operations and combat systems in the Mexican Gulf, the company said Wednesday.
