AT&T has been awarded a five-year contract to provide mobile devices and related services to the Labor Department.

The contract covers smartphones, tethering support and Enhanced Push-to-Talk service in support of the department’s wage and hour division employees, AT&T said Tuesday.

Mike Leff, vice president for civilian agencies at AT&T’s government solutions business, said AT&T will work to help the wage and hour division accomplish its mission through the company’s connectivity and communications services.

AT&T will also deliver data and voice services to the division via the company’s 4G LTE network.
