AT&T has received a $49.1 million task order with an 18-month base performance period to help NASA personnel transmit voice, data and video content using the company's telecommunication services. The company will provide carrier-managed services to NASA-operated centers and facilities under the firm-fixed-price Communications Mission Network Services task order, the space agency said Friday.

AT&T has received a potential 12-year, $231 million task order to update data and voice communications networks that will support 100,000 Treasury Department personnel. The company said Tuesday it will provide the department networking and cybersecurity services as part of the new award under the General Services Administration-managed Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract.

AT&T has introduced four communications technology offerings that are built to work with the national FirstNet broadband system and help increase first responders' situational awareness. “First responders are the heart of FirstNet, and it is their input that is shaping the new tools and technologies on their network, today and for decades to come," said Jason Porter, senior vice president of AT&T's FirstNet program.

The FBI has awarded AT&T a $92 million mobility contract to provide additional FirstNet capabilities that support the bureau's operations. “We are pleased to see the Department of Justice (DOJ) expand its use of the network platform to connect more agencies within the law enforcement community,” said Ed Parkinson, CEO of the FirstNet Authority.
