NIC Inc.‘s subsidiary NICUSA Inc. has won a five-year contract with the state of Maryland to redesign the state’s official website, NIC announced Thursday. The contract has three-one year options and NIC will perform contract work through a self-funded model. NIC will also incorporate an online services suite for Maryland’s Motor Vehicle Administration.
Maryland is now eligible for stimulus funding following the federal government’s stamp of approval on the state’s health IT plan.
