Revathi Advaithi, chief operating officer of Eaton‘s electronic sector, has been appointed to serve as a non-executive director of the board of directors at BAE Systems beginning Jan. 1, 2018.
BAE said Wednesday she oversees Eaton’s global electrical business and corporate operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Advaithi joined the power management company in 1995 as a manufacturing supervisor at the firm’s Shawnee, Oklahoma facility.
She left Eaton in 2002 and worked at Honeywell in various senior positions responsible for sourcing and supply chain functions before she was promoted to vice president and general manager of the field solutions business unit in 2006.
Advaithi then returned to Eaton in 2008 as VP and GM for the electrical components division.
