Boeing has secured a $40.6M modification to an existing contract with the U.S. Navy for aircraft support equipment.

The company will deliver 13 mechanisms for P-8A surveillance aircraft and two forward mechanisms for P-8A trainers, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Work will take place in Seattle and Dallas through November 2022.

The Navy will obligate the entire $40.6M at the time of the modification using fiscal 2017 through 2018 funds allotted for aircraft procurement. Naval Air Systems Command issued the modification.
