AECOM Lands Potential $192M Army Task Order to Support Tactical Network Delivery; John Vollmer Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 13, 2020 “” AECOM's (NYSE: ACM) management services group will provide integrated logistics services for U.S. Army tactical equipment as part of a potential five-year, $192M task order awarded under the General Services Administration Schedule contract, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday it will help transport a unified tactical network for the service branch's Communications-Electronics Command at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland.

AECOM agreed in October to sell the unit led by Vollmer to two private equity firms and expects to complete the $2.4B deal in the first half of its 2020 fiscal year.
