To meet the requirements of the United States Government and the Japanese Ministry of Defense Foreign Military Sales case, Raytheon Missile Systems was awarded a hybrid contract worth $866.6 million to produce and assemble the Standard Missile-3 Block IIA All-Up Rounds.
U.S. Navy Standard Missile-3 interceptors are designed with larger rocket motors and kinetic warheads, allowing them to provide regional defenses against ballistic missile attacks.
2. U.S. Army Distributed Common Ground System-Army Capability Drop 1, $876 Million

Raytheon Company Intelligence and Information Systems received an $876 million contract for the Distributed Common Ground System-Army Capability Drop 1.
The DCGS-A is a system designed to support the warfighting functions that make it easier to visualize incoming threats, providing vital intelligence information from multiple sources on the battlefield to commanders in charge. Distributed Common Ground System-Army Capability Drop 1 is a deal worth $876 million, and it will be split between Raytheon Co. Intelligence and Information Systems and Palantir Technologies Inc.
3. U.S. Navy F-135 Propulsion System Support, $770 Million

- Contract type: Firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification contract
- Completion date: December 2025
On September 23, 2022, a modification contract with around $769.9 million in funding was awarded to Raytheon Technologies Corp and Whitney Military Engines.
Based on the requirements of the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Foreign Military Sales clients, and non-Defense participants, this modification raises the contract ceiling for F-135 propulsion system requirements, including the procurement of spare parts, support equipment, packaging, modules, handling shipment, transportation material, and depot lay-in material.
Half of the work operation will occur in East Hartford, Connecticut, and other U.S. states until December 25, 2025.
4. U.S. Army National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems, $182 Million

- Completion date: August 23, 2024
Raytheon Missiles & Defense received a $182 million contract to procure National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS). The NASAMS from Raytheon is a highly adaptable, advanced air defense system that can significantly improve the ability of air defenders to detect, track, and destroy opposing aircraft, UAVs, and cruise missiles.
5. U.S. Air Force Globally Linked Ising Machine Platform With Superconducting Electronics Prototype Development, $12 Million

- Contract type: Cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract
- Completion date: October 2027
On September 23, 2022, Raytheon BBN Technologies Corp. received an almost $11.9 million contract to deliver hardware and software prototypes for the Globally Linked Ising Machine Platform with Superconducting Electronics. Under this contract, the company will provide the development, manufacture, and integration of the following:
- Analog hardware
- Digital control hardware
- Development of an application programming interface
- Mapping algorithms
The duration of the work in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is estimated to be October 2027.
