IDEMIA Facial Recognition Algorithm Assessed in NIST Test; Donnie Scott Quoted
The results of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Facial Recognition Vendor Test show that IDEMIA’s facial recognition algorithm was 30 percent more effective than other platforms in one-to-many image matching scenarios. NIST assessed 127 software algorithms from 39 facial recognition tech developers as part of FRVT, IDEMIA said Tuesday.
