Huntington Ingalls Industries‘ Ingalls shipbuilding division has secured a potential $13.7 million contract to provide design services for the U.S. Navy‘s LX(R) amphibious warfare ship replacement effort. Raytheon to Provide Support Services for Navy Shipboard Electronic Systems
Raytheon will provide lifecycle engineering and support services for the shipboard electronic systems on the U.S. Navy‘s LPD 17-class ships under a potential $132.1 million contract. The company said Dec. 23 that the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract awarded through the Naval Sea Systems Command runs through December 2019. Raytheon will perform work at locations abroad and in California, Virginia, Mississippi and Florida. More
